The geometry students designed and created city plans to represent their understanding of parallel lines and the angles that are found with the parallel lines. They were tasked with using two parallel streets, and two non-parallel streets called transversals to create their city. The students had to come up with ten buildings or places for their town and then had to place them in specific spots based on the angles they had studied. Their creativity was very evident in the final products. Pictured are the cities from the sophomore geometry class.
